Posters
A set of 3 posters scattered around Wellington in the city’s busiest locations.
We have chosen to do a series of posters to spread awareness and visually convey the experience of immersing oneself in New Zealand’s native bush. The bright colours, striking immersive imagery, and captivating headers will draw viewers in to read. These posters aim to capture the essence of Zealandia, by uniting its elements to enhance the brand’s cohesion. These posters will be placed in the busiest locations across Wellington such as Cuba Street, Lambton Quay, and Courtney Place.

Zealandia Clubs
Additionally included in this website are Zealandia clubs. This is a new section of Zealandia that we are incorporating into the new brand narrative. We are introducing clubs such as photography club, walking club, bird-watching club, and more. These clubs aim to foster a sense of community and encourage visitors to connect with others who share similar interests. This touch point targets returning customers by offering this community connection and a reason to return.
We have transformed Zealandia’s current social media into a more engaging and informative style by leveraging our visual style and video content across all platforms. This touch point is where we can update our audience on relevant content such as competitions, weekly news and activities, and new updates and events that happen at Zealandia. Through our content developed through posters and video, we can continue to use this visual style in our social media where we can use short-form content optimised for all types of devices and platforms
We have chosen video as this form of content as it effectively pushes the idea of immersion into New Zealand’s native bush. This video is only around 20 seconds long and shows an office man stepping out of his everyday busy life and experiencing the heart and soul of Zealandia. This use of motion will be graphically engaging for the audience and will ultimately encourage people to step out of their busy lives and explore the sole of the wild.
Installations
A series of large-scale Installations placed around Wellington’s high-traffic areas such as the waterfront, Courtney Place, the Wellington sign, and more.
Our installation touchpoints are used to spark awareness and stimulate conversation Among local Wellingtonians and tourists. We want to create a buzz around Wellington and merging the worlds of Zealanadia and the city together. These installations will become a staple tourist attraction and become a regular scenic view for locals prompting curiosity by getting people to ask if they have seen the giant Tui on the waterfront.

Zealandia Website Refresh
Looking at Zealandia’s current website we feel as if the information is cluttered and hard to read and take in. The information is valuable and can be presented in a much more effective way for viewers. We've continued our visual style throughout the website to create a sense of familiarity across all branding. Through this new style, we can also streamline users to the information they need most by creating an easily navigable website.
Zealandia for Kids
We have also integrated a separate section called Zealandia for Kids. This page has a different visual style to better suit the younger audiences. The website is targeted at parents to share all the information Zealandia has to offer kids such as a variety of educational programs, and holiday activities, to ensure parents that kids can fully immerse themselves into the outdoor Zealandia experience. This touch point allows us to get our kid’s programs across to families and start to engage young minds with interactive and educational content that can cultivate a love for nature and conservation from an early age.
Interactive Information Boards
After looking at Zealandia’s current information boards we identified that it is hard for kids to read and isn’t very exciting for them. So we have decided to create new informational boards that offer fun facts through sound and touch elements making learning engaging and hands-on for kids. Continuing our Zealandia for kid’s visual colours and style we can make these boards more inviting and understandable. These boards will be placed all around Zealandia for all native wildlife and plants.
Activity Sheets
These sheets are full of fun and exciting activities such as bingo, drawing, stickers, and our Zealandia team’s top picks for spotting birds. Once filled out kids can return the clipboards to reception and earn prizes for completing bingo and the drawings will be entered into Zealandia’s monthly drawing competition. These activity sheets get kids immersed in the Zealandia experience by making it more stimulating and adventurous giving parents a reason to visit our eco-sanctury.
